ORDERING & PAYMENT
How do I place an order? Browse our Gold and Silver collections, select the product and quantity you want, and click “Add to Cart.” When ready, proceed to checkout, enter your shipping details, choose a payment method, and confirm your order. You’ll receive an email confirmation immediately.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept:
- Credit/Debit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) via Stripe — processed securely at checkout
- Bank Wire Transfer — instructions provided after order confirmation
- Personal Check or Cashier’s Check — mailed to our Piscataway, NJ address
Note: Payment instructions for wire are sent to your registered email after your order is placed. We do not display account details publicly.
Why don’t you show wire on the website? For the security of our customers and our business, banking details are only shared via direct email communication after an order is verified. This protects against fraud.
Are credit card transactions secure? Yes. All card payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment processor. BullionFortune never sees or stores your full card number.
Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it? Orders may be cancelled within 2 hours of placement at no charge. After that, a Market Loss Fee may apply — equal to the difference between your locked order price and the current spot price at the time of cancellation. This is standard industry practice. Contact us immediately at (732) 429-4421 if you need to cancel.
Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing? Yes. For orders above a certain volume, please contact us at info@bullionfortune.com to discuss pricing.
PRICING & PRODUCTS
How are your prices determined? Our prices are based on the live spot price of gold or silver, plus a premium that covers minting, handling, insurance, and dealer costs. Spot prices update in real time and are shown in the ticker at the top of every page. Your price is locked at the moment you confirm your order.
What is a “premium” over spot price? The premium is the amount above the raw metal spot price charged for a finished coin or bar. It covers manufacturing, certification, packaging, and dealer margins. Government-issued coins (like American Gold Eagles or Canadian Maple Leafs) typically carry higher premiums than generic bars due to their legal tender status and higher demand.
Are your products authentic and certified? Yes. All products we sell are sourced from accredited mints and refiners, including the U.S. Mint, Royal Canadian Mint, Perth Mint, Valcambi Suisse, and IGR. Products come with assay cards or mint packaging where applicable.
What is the difference between coins, bars, and rounds?
- Coins are government-issued legal tender with guaranteed weight and purity, offering highest liquidity
- Bars are produced by private or accredited refiners and typically carry lower premiums per ounce
- Rounds look like coins but are privately minted and are not legal tender
Do you sell IRA-eligible metals? Yes. We offer IRS-approved gold and silver products eligible for Precious Metals IRAs. Look for “IRA Eligible” on qualifying product pages. We partner with Entrust Group as our IRA custodian.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
How is my order shipped? All orders are shipped via FedEx in discreet, unmarked packaging. No external markings indicate the contents.
Is my shipment insured? Yes. All shipments are fully insured against loss or damage in transit. Insurance is included in the shipping cost.
When does free shipping apply? Free insured shipping is included on all orders over $5,000. Orders below this threshold include a standard shipping and insurance fee calculated at checkout.
How long does delivery take? Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days after payment clears. Standard FedEx delivery is 2–5 business days depending on your location.
What if my package arrives damaged? If your package arrives visibly damaged, do not open it. Refuse delivery and contact us immediately at (732) 429-4421 or info@bullionfortune.com. We will file a FedEx insurance claim and arrange a replacement.
What if my package is lost in transit? If FedEx confirms a package as lost, we will file an insurance claim and either replace the order or issue a full refund. Please allow up to 10 business days for resolution.
Do you ship outside the United States? Currently, we ship within the United States only.
RETURNS & BUYBACKS
What is your return policy? We accept returns within 5 business days of confirmed delivery, provided items are in original, unaltered condition in their original packaging. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. Refunds are issued less original shipping costs. Final sale items are not returnable.
Do you buy back metals? Yes. Contact us at info@bullionfortune.com or (732) 429-4421 to receive a buyback quote based on current spot price. After appraisal and agreement, payment is issued via your preferred method.
TAXES & LEGAL
Is bullion taxable in New Jersey? No. New Jersey exempts gold and silver bullion from state sales tax. This means NJ residents pay no sales tax on qualifying bullion purchases.
What about orders shipped to other states? Sales tax rules vary by state. Tax, if applicable, is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address. Several US states also exempt bullion from sales tax — consult a tax advisor for your specific state.
Do I need to report my purchase to the IRS? BullionFortune may be required to file IRS Form 1099-B for certain transactions. You are responsible for reporting capital gains or losses on precious metals in accordance with IRS rules. We recommend consulting a tax professional for guidance.
PRECIOUS METALS IRA
What is a Precious Metals IRA? A Precious Metals IRA is a self-directed Individual Retirement Account that holds physical gold or silver instead of (or in addition to) stocks and bonds. It offers the same tax advantages as a traditional or Roth IRA.
How do I open a Precious Metals IRA with BullionFortune? We partner with Entrust Group as our IRA custodian. Contact us at info@bullionfortune.com to begin the process. We will guide you through account setup, funding, and selecting IRA-eligible metals.
Which metals are IRA-eligible? IRS-approved metals must meet minimum purity requirements: Gold (99.5%), Silver (99.9%), Platinum (99.95%), Palladium (99.95%). Qualifying products are marked “IRA Eligible” on our site.
Where is my IRA metal stored? IRA metals are stored at Delaware Depository, a fully insured, IRS-approved depository based in Wilmington, Delaware. Your metals are held in segregated or allocated storage as applicable.
SECURITY & ACCOUNT
How is my personal information protected? We use SSL encryption on all pages. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant). We never store your full card number. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Do you accept third-party payments? No. For security reasons, all payments must be made from an account matching the name of the registered account holder. Payments from unmatched names will be returned.
What if I suspect fraudulent activity on my account? Contact us immediately at (732) 429-4421 or info@bullionfortune.com. We take fraud very seriously and will work with you and relevant authorities to resolve any issue promptly.
